Kim is an attorney and Board Certified in Personal Injury Law with a passion for helping people. She has secured high-profile settlements recognized by Texas Lawyer, including the second-highest settlement in Texas in 2017 and the second-highest wrongful death settlement in 2024, as recognized by Top Verdict.
She is dedicated to holding defendants accountable and obtaining the best possible results for her clients, while also striving to prevent future injuries.
In addition to her legal practice, Kim teaches continuing legal education courses to other attorneys and was recognized with the 2023 Outstanding Faculty Award from NBI for her contributions as an educator. She is also a passionate advocate for individuals facing unfair insurance practices, having founded the Denied but Not Defeated Facebook Group to provide resources and guidance to cancer patients whose health insurance claims have been denied, with plans to expand this effort into a formal non-profit.Kim and her husband, Carson, met while volunteering at an animal shelter and now have a son and two dogs. She also supports the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Living for Zachary Foundation.
