Attorney

Must be able to motivate and energize staff to generate the best results for our clients and organization. This position focuses on the contribution to the firm’s success.  Determine strategies and responsibilities to include specific tasks that must result in a positive impact for the firm. Hold people accountable for achieving goals and progress to adding more responsibilities.  

 Essential Functions  

  • Developing and leading internal audit and compliance programs. 
  • Maintaining proper interactions with relevant local attorneys, state and federal governmental bodies, and the community at large.
  • Advising the Owner managers on a variety of issues.
  • Participating in the formulation of general management policy
  • Compliance review to include SOLs, client calls returned, conflicts checking and internal metrics.
  • Expense review and approval.
  • Negotiation training and directives.
  • Client meetings and managed escalated client issue resolution (calls/in-person)
  • Revenue forecasting.
  • Weekly group meeting and goals alignment.
  • Employee reviews and retention initiatives.
  • Overseeing delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish goals, strategies and priorities.
  • Ensure ethical and legal obligations of all subordinates.
  • Maximizing case values and attorney fees recovered.
  • Additional projects, as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience  

  • JD; must be in good standing 
  • Previous litigation experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases with least 5+ jury trials
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Working on cross-functional teams
  • Must have valid TX driver license and good driving record
  • Effective communication and delegation
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish a plus)
