Fatal East Arlington Car Accident

On the morning of August 20th, a Dallas woman was struck and killed in a motor vehicle accident. Although many details about the collision are still unclear, initial reports indicate that the 27-year-old woman’s vehicle was struck by a box truck while leaving a business parking lot.
The accident occurred in the 1900 block of East Division Street south of Global Life Park in East Arlington. The driver attempted to turn east onto Division Street, and her vehicle was hit by the truck heading westbound in the opposite direction.
Arlington Fire/Emergency Medical Services and police were dispatched shortly after. Arlington police pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The occupants of the truck were unharmed and are cooperating with law enforcement.
